Solacea

Our story

Comfort, dignity, and presence — for life's most fragile moments

Solacea exists for people living with serious illness, and for the families beside them.

When cure is no longer the whole story, comfort becomes the work

We ease symptoms, calm fear, and protect dignity so each day can be lived as fully as possible. We bring medical care and gentle complementary therapies together in one place — not to replace treatment, but to add comfort around it. Less suffering, more presence, better days.

The palliative care gap in Indonesia

Comfort-focused care is still hard to find and easy to misunderstand. Many families face serious illness without enough support for pain, anxiety, and the emotional weight that comes with it — and without a trusted place that blends medical care with safe, gentle therapies. Solacea was built to close that gap.

Augmentation, not replacement

Safety first: every therapy is coordinated with your care team, and herbal remedies are checked for interactions before use. Evidence-informed: we're honest about what's well-supported and what's mainly for comfort. Whole-person: body, mind, and spirit — and the family — are all part of care.

We met at an event for people living with uncertainty

A palliative care physician. A naturopath. Two practitioners of energy and movement. Different training, different rooms, one shared frustration: medicine treats the disease well, but the person around it far less well.

Cancer and serious illness don't only attack the body. They come for sleep, for confidence, for faith, for the family standing in the corridor. Medical treatment holds one edge of that. The rest is often left to whoever can bear it.

We built Solacea to hold the rest — physical, psychological, social, spiritual — alongside medical treatment, never instead of it.

We can't promise to remove suffering. We can promise you won't face it alone.

Why the olive tree

The tree we are named for

An olive tree lives for thousands of years. Its roots run deep, its oil has healed wounds and lit dark rooms for centuries, and its branch has meant peace for as long as people have needed the word.

We took the name because it is the shape of the work: deep roots in medical knowledge, comfort that runs alongside treatment, and peace offered to families in their hardest season.
